I work mainly in Australian, English and Irish genealogy. My specialist areas of knowledge include convicts, military, goldfields and land records.

Please keep in mind that what you are buying isn’t a straightforward product. Sometimes for a variety of reasons (record loss, privacy laws, and other restrictions), the answers are legitimately not available despite a genealogist's best efforts. I cannot guarantee I will locate  specific information, but you have my pledge that I will use paid time efficiently and effectively while searching for information in the best way possible.  I use The Genealogical Proof Standard so you can be sure the research is well documented and authenticated.  As a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists I am bound to operate within their Code of Ethics and Professional Practices.

Payment policy

Payment via Paypal is preferred or I can send you an invoice listing bank account details for direct funds transfer.

Payment in advance is required for any work equating to five hours or less.

For larger bodies of work a 20% deposit is required before work can commence with the balance payable before receiving your research results.

Please note that Your Family Genealogist reserves the right to withhold documents and research results until full payment has been received.

Cancellation policy

If I have commenced your Research Project then you are liable for the full agreed amount of the total project costs as per our Letter of Agreement.  If you decide to cancel the Project you will be required to pay any outstanding balance.  If this circumstance arises you will of course receive all research material completed thus far including any certificates already purchased on your behalf.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission ensures that individuals and businesses comply with Australian competition, fair trading, and consumer protection laws - in particular the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. Your Family Genealogist reserves the right to amend this cancellation policy at any time.
