e-Gates in the UK for Australian, USA & Canadian passport holders

I know some of you are, like me, heading for the UK in the near future for some family history research.

Good to know that the Brits have brought forward the date for Australian, USA and Canadian Passport holders to use the e-gates instead of joining the long immigration queues. This is a blessing after spending 24 hours (or more) to get to the UK.

I also discovered Australians are also able to use the e-Gates at Rome's international airport when I passed through there a couple of weeks ago. It was as unexpected as it was welcome.
