The Irish in England and Wales in the 1921 Census

Happy St Patrick's Day. To celebrate, I'm sharing with you a link to Findmypast's webinar on the Irish in England and Wales at the time of the 1921 Census. There were over 300,000 Irish born people living in these two countries in 1921. Were your family members among them?

If you did have Irish family members living and working in England or Wales around this time, it's well worth watching - not least because the webinar is presented by Brian Donovan, my favourite Irish family historian.

And of course, the webinar is online and free at either YouTube or Facebook.

On this St Patrick's Day, I wish all my readers that which my father used often to say: "May you live as long as you want, and never want as long as you live."

Until next time, happy ancestor hunting.
